IMPORTANT NEWS
THE DETAIL: The US has confirmed that the De Minimis exemption for imports will end on August 29, 2025. This means that tariffs now apply to goods valued at less than $800, AND there will be a six-month transition period with simplified fees before full duties take effect.
This is an additional blow following on from the GSPR legislation in December 2024 which made it impossible for my small business to sell to the European Union (including Northern Ireland).
These simplified fees are expected to be between $80 and $200, depending on the country of origin, thereafter, the tariff will be 10% plus custom clearance fees; however, it is not clear how much the latter will cost.
Therefore with all this uncertainty, for now, please do not order from Europe or the USA as I have no control over what customs fees may be levied if I send a package to you. So Sorry!
