Each artwork is created on a reclaimed book cover that carries its own history, character and story to tell.

There’s a certain rawness and authenticity to these pieces — the worn surfaces, subtle imperfections and traces of a former life that give each cover its own unique character. Incorporating photographic elements and found imagery from a variety of paper ephemera, each is transformed into a small, individual work of art, where old and new come together in an unexpected way.

I love the way it retains something of its past just beneath the surface, adding depth, texture and a sense of history to the finished piece.

Fitted with a small D-ring on the back, each artwork can be hung on a wall or displayed on a little easel on a shelf. Float mounting would also be an option. They are sealed and varnished so don't need to be behind glass.
